FAQ

1 - Polarization and UV Protection
Polarization is nowhere remotely associated with UV protection – the two phenomena are mutually exclusive. Our polarized lenses are made from Triacetate Cellulose (aka TAC) which is a multi-layered lens technology that is formulated to provide complete and thorough elimination of glare and harmful UV rays. They provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB & UVC rays up to 400 nanometres. As for our safety lenses, they are made from polycarbonate materials. This material is also known to have UV blocking properties.
